Bidding Notice: A 15% buyer’s premium will be added to every item sold.
Any Announcements made on day of sale supersede all printed material. Auctioneer reserves the right to reject the bid of anyone who is not a registered bidder.
All items are sold as-is with no exceptions All descriptions are believed to be accurate, inspection of items is encouraged. If you have any question please contact us.
All carat weights are estimates.
All of our auctions have a soft close.
ONLINE SALES
Please make sure your email and shipping address are correct in HiBid.
The Auctioneer shall have no responsibility for internet bidding interruption or delays beyond our control. Internet bidders should be aware that due to the nature of the internet, delays in transmission could result in the auctioneer failing to recognize your bid. The auctioneer will work to accommodate varying internet speeds but is not responsible for the final result of delays.
PAYMENT
We email payment invoices within 24 hours of auction close, and payment is expected within 24 hours of receipt. If you do not see an invoice in your inbox, please check your spam folder. If payment has not been received by the Thursday following the auction’s close, your items will be resold, and you will be blocked from placing future bids with our company. We do not automatically charge your card on file.
Out of state bidders are credit cards only. However, bidders unknown to our company may be required to pay via certified check or wire transfer when you are buying precious metals, jewelry, or coins.
Local bidders can pay with cash, check, or credit card at pick up.
Due to the number of scammers associated with gold purchases we require bidders unknown to our auction company to pay via wire transfer or certified check. Items are not shipped until payment has cleared our bank. Gold and sterling items left unpaid for after 4 days of invoice receipt will be resold
REFUNDS
We will only issue refunds if there is a blatant error in the listing.
Buyers have 5 calendar days from tracking receipt to initiate a return. Refunds are issued once items are returned to us at the buyer's expense. It may take 72 business hours to process and an additional 72 hours to see the refund posted on your original payment method.
SHIPPING & PICKUP
Items will be shipped within 14 days of payment. Items are considered delivered when the USPS or UPS tracking data states the item has been delivered. We will not refund an item because it cannot be found, it was stolen, or for any other reason related to delivery. Once tracking states your purchase has been delivered, all other delivery or receipt concerns are out of our control. Please contact postal service to resolve these issues. We do not automatically provide tracking data though all packages have tracking. We ship to the address on file with HiBid. If the address is incorrect please make the change on your end in HiBid.
Shipping fees have increased and delivery times have decreased for all shippers. Heavy/large items or items shipped west of the Mississippi River will incur higher than average shipping costs. We will combine shipping when possible.
Buyers requiring shipping will receive two invoices. The first is from HiBid reflecting your purchases, fees, and shipping costs. The second is from our company and will be the invoice through which you can enter your card information and pay.
All items are to be picked up during normal pick up times designated by each auction. Please refer to the auction info listed on HiBid for more information.
No items will be picked up until all items are paid for in full.
It is the bidder’s responsibility to ensure they are able to remove their items. Please bring help if you are unable to move an item yourself.
FIREARMS
All firearms requiring shipping will be sent to a licensed FFL dealer. It is the bidders responsibility to provide us with this documentation. FFL documents can be emailed to soliquidations@yahoo.com. Firearms made prior to 1898 and black powder firearms are exempt. Online payments may not be available for firearms purchases.
The buyer does hereby indemnify and hold harmless the auctioneer and seller from any and all damages, claims, or liabilities from injuries to persons or property of any type whatsoever caused during the sale or by the removal or shipping of items purchased.
While descriptions are believed to be accurate, neither the auctioneer nor seller make any warranty or guarantee, expressed or implied. Southern Oaks Liquidations LLC shall not be held responsible for advertising discrepancies or inaccuracies.
